The Goo Goo Dolls - Iris

You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be.

Hey guys. Long time no blog. Haha. I'm so funny. *cough*

This song popped up on Pandora just now, and I'm like, "Oh, let's share this in some other way than Facebook." Thus, here it is.

Many people interpret this song differently, due to their way of perceiving the song and their personal experiences.
To me, this song practically screams about how much love can do to two people. How much one person would give up just to love another.

The Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 1986. The band members are John Rzeznik (guitarist, vocalist) and Robby Takac (bassist, vocalist).

I remember reading somewhere about how, in an interview, John Rzeznik wrote this song about his grandmother having Alzheimer's disease. I'm not confirmed on that, I just read it somewhere.

If you take apart this song stanza by stanza, or even verse by verse, it emanates the idea of love and how strong it can be. That may sound corny, but I can't think of any other way to say it.

Enjoy the song. :)
Until next time!

And I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand.

Phoenix - Entertainment

What you want, and what you do to me. I'll take the trouble that you have in mind.

First of all, I feel really terrible for not updating. I am so sorry.
Second of all, Happy (Belated) St. Patrick's Day!

I am pretty sure that I posted one or two Phoenix songs earlier last year. Probably 1901 and Liztomania. Oh well, those were the only two I was most familiar with. :)

This was on the radio, and I shot up and yelled, "I MUST POST THIS!" at 8:07 in the morning last week. Luckily, I was alone in the car. So, no worries there.
My fuzzy socks beg to differ.
I'm being very random today.

Anyways. I hope you enjoy this song. I believe they recorded this in Paris.

Till next time. Ja ne.

I love, I love, I love, I notice. I heard it all before I died.

Data Romance - Can't Keep Your Mind Off

You come with too many politics that seem to be digging thoughts; I can't keep your mind off.

Hey guys! It's been a while. Almost a month since my last post.
Oh well. I blame school and the like.

This is a laid-back, yet upbeat song about how it's hard to "keep your mind off" of someone.
"If you can't take the risk, I don't blame you." That line kind of speaks for itself.

To me, the female vocals seem to be taking a first person point of view and speaking to the other person.
"She"'s willing to change and show the ropes of how things go.
That's pretty bland, but I find this slightly hard to explain, as I don't have much experience in this area of life. Hehe?

Yeah. That's all I've got for now.
A song recommendation if you're not a person who gets headaches and migraines really easily from listening to high pitch/frequencies over and over: listen to Lavender Town on YouTube. The 10 hour version. Or at least the 2 minute version. Please? It's my favorite. :)

See you all later!
-Tennie.
If you can't take the risk, I don't blame you.
