Yiruma - Maybe

Hi, guys.

First off - this song is a piano only, no lyrics song.
But it's still a good song.

Second off - thank you for the rising in views. It might be small, but hey - it's something. :D

Yiruma is a South Korean-born pianist who has been around and a hit since the 2000s. He is quite famous for his piano pieces. Two of his most famous ones (which I've actually played on piano before), Kiss The Rain and River Flows In You have been favorites of many.

This song is a very hopeful-sounding song. It's optimistic. I usually don't like optimistic music, but hey - Yiruma is awesome. Thus, I listen to this stuff.

And that's all.
YouTube it. That's all I can really say.

Bye now.

The 1975 - Chocolate

You say we'll go where nobody knows, with guns hidden under our pety coats.

Hey, all.
Life has been busy - recovering from exams (screw you, Mandarin finals. x.x), suffering under tons of homework (I swear, teachers don't understand the definition of 'weekend' - to them, it means "two days to pile homework while they don't see me for class! :D" it's evil.), dealing with idiots (no specification needed there), and finding time and good music to post here.
Thus, I'm hating on life right now.
That offer for new authors is still up, by the way.

This song was the first one I listened to when I first joined SoundCloud (no intentional advertisement - you're gonna have to search it up yourself. hehe.), and it's pretty awesome.
The EP this song is from actually hasn't been released yet, and I couldn't find it on Spotify, but I listen to it over and over again on SoundCloud.
I love this song so much it can't be healthy.

Because of its upcoming release date, I don't have much info on this song and the EP. But - I'll give you guys the link to be nice. :P

The 1975 - Chocolate. This link leads to the MP3 file, which is hosted on SoundCloud. Listen to it, and I'll be happy. ^__^

Okay. I'm done. Bye for now, everyone.
We're never gonna quit it, no.

Erik Satie - Gymnopédie No. 1

Erik Satie - Gymnopédie No. 1.
Yep, it's the first song that doesn't have lyrics that has touched this blog.
It's a great song, and it's really nice to listen to. It's calming, it's beautiful, this blogger right here is in love with Erik Satie's music at the moment, so yeah. <3

Here's a nice clip with pictures of autumn. The picture quality sucks, but hey - it's for the music, so you can just keep this blog open on a tab while you study. If you have Spotify (it's like a free iTunes on your PC with occasional ads! ack, free advertising. sorry.), then there's a lot of MP3s for you to listen to if you just type in 'Erik Satie' in the search box. :D

I just think that the left hand is a little bit harsh in this rendition, but all pianists' ears are different, so that's just my opinion. ^.^

And here's another one - warning: the left hand does slightly strike out, perhaps to startle you a little bit, but the sound quality is pretty nice, the beginning includes a short bit of rolling waves - it's all extremely calming.
I could listen to Erik Satie all day. <3

Overall, this is a really nice piece worthy of your time and energy.
Listen to it.
Or else.
*insert dramatic music here*

Giacomo Bondi & The Apple Pies - Blackbird

Blackbird singing in the dead of night, all your life.

This is really calming, let me first state. I really like this. I love the Beatles too, but I may like this version better. DON'T HATE ON ME, YO.

It's a nice, soft-ish song with bird chirps.

There's not really much to say about this song besides the fact that it's extremely calming and peaceful. <3
I believe that this entire album is covering many Beatles songs.
Yeah, it is.

You should listen to it. YouTube doesn't have much; I found this on Spotify.

My posts get shorter and shorter.
You were only waiting for this moment to arrive.

Muse - Madness

Now I have finally seen the light.

Yo, coconuts. (Ahaha. Cocoa nuts. Nuts of cocoa. Haha.)

Today's song. :)

Muse is really great. The bass beat for this song is always stuck in my head.
Thus, I'm going around school thinking (out loud, probably), "M-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-mah-mah-mah." I'm so cool, right?

Just kidding.

One album worth taking your time to listen to is Muse's newest album (as of the time this post is being typed up), The 2nd Law.
The 2nd Law was released in 2012.

Muse is an English rock band that has been around since 1994. The band is consisted of Matthew Bellamy (vocalist/guitarist), Chris Wolstenholme (bassist), and Dominic Howard (drummer/percussion). Bored of the ordinary life in their hometown, Teignmouth, Devon, the schoolmates (that sounds so... awkward to type and say. argh.) decided to play around with some instruments and eventually played in a band together.

If you listen to the song, replace every 'madness' with the word 'love' and the song's meaning will slightly reveal more of itself to you. That's all I'm saying about the meaning today. :)

And that's all. I'm glad to slightly be getting back to almost-normal post pace/size.

Later, bananas.
Now I have finally seen the end. Now I'm expecting you to care.

Zedd - The Legend Of Zelda (Original Mix)

This is too good to be real. I swear, it's just too awesome. <3

And yes, this is another song without lyrics. It doesn't need lyrics, it's too awesome. ;D

I like this remix. It's a lot better than my piano version. Definitely better than mine. This is probably just Zelda-dubstep. Media-dub, as some like to call it.

Listen to it. Study with it. Listen to some other Zedd stuff.

I'm out. I just felt like posting this to procrastinate from homework. :D
Bye guys. Ew, carrots.

Churchill - I Am Yours

And I'm back with Churchill. :)

Churchill was here two posts ago, so I'm not going to re-educate you guys on them. But they still rock. <3

This song is calming. It's really nice to listen to. Another song from the same album, Change EP, is Sing Out Your Love. It's extremely calming, and it's just awesome in general.
None of these songs are screamo, unlike the Three Days Grace one I posted last time. :)

I'm thinking of Kurt Cobain. RIP. </3

Anyways. Yeah. I'm really DYING under ALL THIS PRESSURE to get GOOD GRADES (because I'm ASIAN *cough-choke*) and I have TONS of homework, but I NEED TO POST BECAUSE I'VE BEEN DITCHING OUT AND I SUCK.

Anyways, heheheheh.
Back to Churchill.
I posted info on them before, here it is again:
Churchill formed in 2008 and are still active. :) Churchill is consisted of five members - Tim Bruns (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Tyle Rima (bass), Bethany Kelly (vocals/keys - which I'm guessing is related to piano), Joe Richmond (DRUMS WOOO.), and Mike Porter (ukulele/banjo/mandolin).
And boom. I have to go back to homework.
This post was a lot of junk.

I am disappointed in myself.
Bye guys.

Three Days Grace - (I Hate) Everything About You

Every feeling that I get, but I haven’t missed you yet.
Hey guys. \m/

WE GOT THE 10000 VIEWS! *fangirl screams*

This song isn’t going to have any of my opinions of what the song means, and I’m just going to post several opinions I found online.
I don’t even feel like doing research on Three Days Grace. I’m sorry. I do like TDG, I’m just really tired and have to study for finals, guys. I promise a better post next time.
(Currently listening to Wait and Bleed by Slipknot. I really like this song. <3)

This song means someone you loved screwed you over and you still love them, you miss them when you stop and think about what happened and think about what you could have been when them, and you hate them. So why do you still love them? This song poses that question.
This song is about abusive relationships. Whether it be between a parent and child, a boyfriend and girlfriend or any other derivative of these scenarios, and whether the abusive be sexual, physical or verbal, the victim hates how they are being treated, but has this irrational love for whoever is treating them that way. This song is about the confusion caused by these conflicting feelings within the victim.
Indifference is the killer.
I never thought this song is about drugs, but it's actually a very interesting way to look at it. Anyway, I think it's clear that is about a sick relationship, two people who love each other but at the same time they hate each other, they can't stand being around the other. Love and hate are closer than we think.

I interpret this song as a guy struggling to discover his feelings for someone - God, a friend, a parent, a sibling, a lover, etc. He can't stand the way they act (whether it be their behavior, their decisions, etc.) but he still can't help but love them.

According to the music video, I think that the song is about the difficulties as a teenager. Mainly it is about this girl that he loves but also it's about his father (he doesn't appear as much as the girl though, but you can see him at 0:43 E.G) and maybe more things as well. There are some drugs in the video, but as I see it they are there to numb his pains. They have no part in the love/hate. One detail is all the teenagers that appear in the video, E.G on 2:40 and forward. I believe that this is a hint that the feelings expressed in the song is about the heavy feelings that many teenagers experiences when they grow up. Some of the classical problems are love troubles and arguments with one’s family, which are in the video. In the very end he smashes a picture frame of a boy (himself I suppose) and a girl. This ensures me that the strongest feelings expressed in the song are the feelings for the girl. As I understand the video the story about him and the girl is a love story where he is deeply in love with her (maybe they even have been in a relationship once) but she does not want him (anymore?) and she dates other guys (possibly to make him jealous). He can't do anything about it. He's just standing there, watching his big love kiss others. The song is about the pain of being in love with her without her loving him. (And if I'm right the pain may also be caused by her cold-heartedness when she wants to make him jealous). "Every roommate kept awake by every sigh and scream we make" suggests that they have been in a relationship. There is a girl appearing at 0:48 (and some other times as well). Could this be the same girl? For if so, I'm pretty sure that they've been dating. I could see two possibilities with these scenes: either the girl have had sex with some other guys (once again, to make him jealous. But it could also be attempt to forget him) but afterwards she ends up missing him. Or this is a flash back vision from their previous relationship (but the guy at 1:37 does not feel like him, which speaks against this theory). She seems sad, but she holds the paper with their initials written in hearts (LL+RM<3). This gives a feeling that she does love him, but does not feel happy about their relationship.
On top of all this pain he does not get along well with his father. His father is drinking (0:16) and hitting him (or at least they had a major argument where he was knocked over (0:42)).
I think this song fits me perfectly!!!! Because the guy I like used to do drugs and he and I slept in the same room with my roommate at college, but me and him had a love/hate relationship... we never fought like out loud but we had our methods of fighting, I hated what he did, but I love him anyways... at least that's my interpretation...
I think this song is about people; one of those people hates the other one but yet loves the other.
Yeah. I really like the one that said ‘Indifference is the killer.’ What does that mean? Well, you’ll have to go find out for yourself.

I just found out that it’s 3DG, not TDG. Sorry. D:

I’ll be off on my torturous journey to... Finals land now. Bye guys.
I hate everything about you, why do I love everything about you?
