Churchill - Change

To make you want me, I can fabricate the truth.

ARGHHHH. I'M BACK. After a long break. I'm extremely sorry.
But I do hope your Christmas went well. Stuff yourself with food, feast on random stuff. :)
I have an apple cider hangover. Waah. o.e

This is one of my favorite songs. I love the bass beat, I love the meaning (well, the meaning I've derived from the lyrics), and just the group Churchill.

Churchill formed in 2008 and are still active. :)
Churchill is consisted of five members - Tim Bruns (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Tyle Rima (bass), Bethany Kelly (vocals/keys - which I'm guessing is related to piano), Joe Richmond (DRUMS WOOO.), and Mike Porter (ukulele/banjo/mandolin).

I honestly have never heard of an indie folk/rock band, but these guys are one, so that's pretty sweet.

That's all I've got for you guys.
Gotta go back to meta-tagging my MP3s and finding a free music editor track program thing.
Love you all. Yes, you. *points*

Oh, and that admin offer is still open.
You've got the story all made up inside your head.

Thank Ye All for the 9, 417 views.

Seriously, guys.

Even though we have 583 page views left to go (in which you should definitely let others know about us for the sake of my patience and sanity. :U), I'm really proud.
This blog started out as some lame noob's music sharing vent, and that generated... Seven views a day, which got me really hyped up. And it just kept going, and when I added little notes about who the music artist/group was, I started learning more, and I searched up song interpretations too, which gave me perspective and insight.

Overall, I became less stupid and more aware of the music community/industry.

And I have to thank you for that.

Also, me and Ahri got to communicate more and I got to know her taste in music a little more. I haven't seen her in a while. But we still blog, and it also kind of lets out some steam when I'm typing up a long overdue post to you guys.
Even though we barely get comments, we get pageviews! It makes me happy to see that my dedication to something is getting at least some acknowledgment.

Again, thank you all SO MUCH.
But seriously, you guys should follow the blog. o 3o
*insert giant naked panda with censors here*

And I actually got this email on day from this awesome person who said that me and Ahri's blog was, and I quote, "MOTHA-PANCAKING AWESHUM, EVEN BETTER THAN RUNNING AROUND WITH YOUR SHIRT TUCKED INTO YOUR LONG UNDERWEAR AS A LITTLE KID BELIEVING IT WAS FREAKING FASHION. And believe me, that was just plain sexy in my opinion, and I felt GREAT."
And I'm like, "Holy frittatas, I'm loved."

And my day was awesome from there on. So thank you, O Epic Blog Viewer. <3

Thus, my little post of rant-love is concluded.
Thanks an elephant ton, guys (and girls, if you're being picky).
Love you all.
(And yes, I went on a Tumblr spree for 'thank you gifs' and stuff. Hehe.)

Death Cab For Cutie - Underneath The Sycamore

We are all the same, we are all the same, we are all the same.

Read the announcement, then go on to the blog post. Haha, thanks.

This blog is in need of one or two more authors and possible admins.
Seeing as school sucks and takes up a lot of time in our lives, we can't post that much and don't want this blog to lie idle.
Please email if you think you or someone else would be great for this spot as an author and possible admin.
Please state who you or the person you're recommending are/is, why you think you or the person you're recommending is great for this position, how many posts per month you think could make, your email, and of course, please put the topic of the email as 'Blog Admin Candidate' or something like that. You can also add previous experience as another blog admin, or just random stuff you want us to know. xD
Thank yee, thank yee.

Aaaaaand back to 'Underneath The Sycamore' by Death Cab For Cutie, which is an awesome American alternative-rock band.

This song has so many interpretations and meanings that it honestly is just your opinion and perspective.
To me, this song is about a guy who is suddenly 'awakened' by the realization that he wants/needs to change. He has gone through many tough trials and hardships which he has overcome, and then he meets his 'other half' who has also led a hard life.
This is where we find our peace, this is where we are released.
I really like that line, and not just because it rhymes in a slightly hauntingly way. :D

Death Cab For Cutie is an American alternative-rock band that formed in 1997 in Bellingham, Washington. It is made up of four members - Ben Gibbards on vocals, guitar, and piano, Nick Harmer on bass, Chris Walla on guitar and keyboard, and Jason McGerr on drums.
(I really like Ben Gibbard's voice. It gives me the chills. <3)
Their music is classified as indie pop, indie rock, alternative rock, and emo (although, I really hate it when people label others as 'emo' or their music or just something).
Their most recent album, Codes And Keys (2011), is where this song comes from. 8'D

And that's all I've got for you guys.
Remember to email the email address if you or someone you know seems fit to be an author and/or possible admin on this blog! We need authors. o Ao
Even guest authors. <3

Yeah. Bye now. \m/

Marianas Trench - Desperate Measures

For a first effort, this feels kinda last ditch.

[If I don't post, I am SCREWED. Please, just reassure me by making the views go up by at least five? TT.TT]

I love Marianas Trench. They've been my addiction for... About a month now.
Yeah, they're some of the only things that I listen to when I get on my computer. And Pandora is great.
Yeah, it's me, Tennie. xD

To me, it's kind of hard to interpret this song. Usually, you only interpret things you've experienced, or read about (this is slightly like experiencing it, but not exactly - unless the work is so good, which has happened in mankind. :D), but some lyrics just explain the ENTIRE thing.
Which comes in handy in life sometimes.

Anyways. On with the song. <3

It's about this guy who just wants this girl. She's not noticing him the way he wants her to.
He wants some desperate measures so their paths will meet.

My internet might be cut off soon, so that's all I have for today.

My poor heart will only surrender.

What's going on everyone? We've been having the worst views ever so far!! And we're so close to 10,000 too TT-TT Did people die..? Did you die? Did we die(hahaha... no)? C'mon you guys!! I wanna keep this page going!!!

I'm sorry I can't post. It's busy week this week! Damn science and history project got me busy.. And my mom would kick me out of my computer if I don't get a good grade on these projects. Y'know... Asian parents

Anyways. I have a few songs in mind but I can't post now since I am in the middle of my project and my family thinks this is part of my homework(hahaha... no). So I have like around 5 minutes before I'll end this post and publish it.

I know you guys think we died because of the very un-recent post but we are healthy and alive(well at least Tennie is). We will try our best so come back as soon as possible! Don't worry people of this blog! We shall be the very active and hyper blog we are very soon!

Okay! Cya later Music Lovers! ;)

Marianas Trench - B Team

You never say yes, not quite no. Say just enough to make me not go.

I have an addiction to Marianas Trench. I love them so much. The moment I get on the computer, I open Spotify (a free iTunes on the computer type of thing which is just plain wonderful for me, because I like free stuff and I like music and I like free music too. :U)
This is one of the first songs I'd pick... Out of the... 10 I'd pick from... And their album that I pick from, Ever After, has 10 songs... Ahaha. I suck with willpower and stuff.

This is the video with the best sound quality I could find. The rest sucks, and there was no music video made for this song, I believe. (I just couldn't find one. If you find one, comment the link and I'll change the one in this post. Fanks velly much.)
(It's a lyric video, if you haven't noticed yet. xD)

La la la. I love this song. It's so upbeat, yet it's not a stupid pop song about:
Yeah, I is done now. =^=;

Marianas Trench, as said in the other post, is mainly a pop-punk group. Just clarifying that. Thus, the beat and lyrics and backbeat and guitar is catchy and peppy and upbeat, most of the time. It's not all candy and rainbows and unicorns sliding down rainbows barfing candy and shooting sparkles out of their magical horns with magicalness.
(And they're sexy. Yeah. I'm so weird. Ha, self. I know, I'm funny. Stop making yourself believe LIES. My self-esteem has been damaged. ;-; AHHH WHY AM I TALKING TO MYSELF.)

Anyways. The song's general idea is about this guy who believes that the girl he likes likes him and she wants (needs, perhaps) a guy like him. However, the girl isn't accepting him in that sense and is slightly using him. She says that she wants a guy like him, and he's wondering why he's the 'Plan B' and such.

I'm done here. ^.^"
Time to update my 'About Me' section on Ahri's gaming blog. Byeeee.

You know, you know, you love the way I linger.

Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble

Chorus Lyrics:

I knew you were trouble when you walked in.
So shame on me now.
Blew me to places I never been,
til you put me down. Oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in.
So shame on me now.
Blew me to places I never been.
Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground.

 My notes/commentary:

I loooove this song even though I am not a swifty(Is that what they're called?)
Even though I'm not a fan, does not mean I cannot like this song right? No? Oh..

Anyways, I really enjow this song a lot. I listen to it almost everyday.
This is even my ringtone right now!! ^_^ That's how much I love this song.
This song is really catchy and has really good lyrics to go along with.

The one problem is this..... Taylor Swift got sucked into pop...
It's true. This song did not have much country like she used to.
Most of her song had the country feeling to it. I just don't feel it in her new album "Red"
I just don't. I just feel more of a pop beat. I know most of you fans out there are mad to this too.
I know this isn't just me. She got her fans by her amazing country music.
Then all of a sudden, she changes to pop. I know that would be weird.
A country girl goes pop in a flash. Then again...
It is kinda good that she's going for the more... "popular" music.
But this just... isn't her y'know. She should sick to country.
Not like she's horrible in pop. It's just... I believe her original fans would be more happy if she stayed with country.

Out of the ginormous paragraph. Let's go back to my I like this song.
This song does have some really nice messages and some quotes I like... Kinda likeeeee...
"I knew you were trouble when you walked in"
"No apologies, he'll never see you cry. (He'll) Pretend he doesn't know that he's the reason why you're drowning."
Good job Taylor for adding really amazing lyrics to the song! You deserve a high-five!!

I gotta go but... Taylor. If you happen to be reading this... Please don't take this as an insult But I just believe you would maintain your "original" fans if you stayed the same and not go to one style to another. Take this as a compliment please. Not an insult..

Okay!! Times up for me! This is the first long post I ever made huh?!
Anyways, Cya later my Pup Military!!

Marianas Trench - Haven't Had Enough

Exit, exit, somehow I guessed it right.

God, I love Marianas Trench SO MUCH.
I hate geography. I love this band. <3
Yeah, good morning to you too. It's currently 1:05AM precisely as I'm typing.

Marianas Trench is a Vancouver-based rock band that all started with Josh Ramsay, whose dad owned the Little Mountain Sound studio that recorded big "oldies" bands like Aerosmith!
MT formed in 2001 with Josh Ramsay on vocals, piano, and guitar, Ian Casselman on percussion, drums, and backing vocals, Matt Webb on guitar, backing vocals and Ian Ayley on bass guitar and backing vocals. They've been on the market since 2001.
They have released three full albums so far, with the latest one, Ever After, released on November 21, 2011. Their music is classified as pop-punk and pop-rock.

This song is quite upbeat, honestly. I love it. And there's some sick electric guitar in there. *squee*
Screw One Direction, Marianas Trench is FIIIIIIIIINE.

And they have sexy voices.
Versus One Direction.
La la la.
I'm in heaven.

Okay. Back to the topic at hand.
This song, Haven't Had Enough, is about this guy who is super sure that his crush likes him back, but is with another guy.
You know, you know, you love the way I linger.
You choose your words, careful voice. You say you want someone just like me. So then why am I your plan, why am I your plan, why am I your Plan B?
Hehehe. I LOVE THIS BAND. <3
And I better sleep NOW otherwise it'll take a huge toll on me in... about... five and a half hours.
I need five hours of sleep at least...
Eh, it's okay. Marianas Trench is worth it.
Hey, it's almost two in le morning.
Okay. Bye now.
I still want ya, want ya. Don't mean to taunt ya.

Allstar Weekend - Not Your Birthday

Another year, another chapter - 5 and 4 and 3 and 2 and 1.

I'm extremely excited right now.
I'm in charge of four blogs (well, technically two, because two aren't in use/action at the moment, but blah.)
And aren't you FRICKIN' EXCITED THAT AHRI-CHAN'S BACK?! WOOO. I love her <5ever.
AND I LOVE THIS STORY/FIC I'M READING ON WATTPAD. Here it is. It's Harry Potter based thing. <3
(My Wattpad username is Pessimism, and my pen name is Optimistic Wonton.)
AND WE HAVE 9042 VIEWS. I'll be super happy when we get to 10,000! Love you all. <3

This song is my encouragement pep song. Although, I like listening better when I don't see Allstar Weekend's faces. They're not ultimately hideous or anything, in fact they're quite cute-ish - it's just that they make me think of stupid boy bands. Kind of like One Direction. (I KIND OF LOVE YOU NIALL. I LIKE... BROCCOLI BETTER THOUGH. Hehe. Fangirl moment over. WAAA I DON'T WANT TO BE A GIRLY GIRL. -__-;)
Man, it's easy for me to go off-topic. Okay then.

This song encourages me, and it's also a song on the Disney movie (no, it's suprisingly not an animation... o Ao) 'Prom's official movie soundtrack.

Andddd. That's all I've got.
Feeling really lazy and not considering to do many more 'education sections' and such.
But I'll hopefully start posting the YouTube videos in the post and also link the videos on the 'YouTube Clips of The Music' page. :)
Bye for nao then.

Check out Ahri-chan and I's blog. I's blog... Vat. .__.

Yeahhhh. Bye now. \m/
You gotta party like it's not your birthday.

Jeff Williams feat. Lamar Hall, Sandy Casey & Red Rapper - Pray

Favorite Lyrics:

I sworn to elegance, decadently in sentences
Maybe I'm just a veteran running out of his medicine
Maybe a definite epitaph would've been generous
But all I get's a whisper, "Yo where the fuck is Connecticut?"

Pray for the day that the lies don't find you
Pray that the end isn't right behind you

My notes/commentary:

(If you are watching RvB and are not in Season 10 yet, DO NOT READ! This includes a bit spoilers to the Season.... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!)
WHO HERE IS A FAN OF RED VS BLUE(RvB)?! If you are, you better know this song!
Only RvB fans would know! This song played while Tex, Carolina, C.T., and that other guy(forgot the name XD) fought and where C.T. died....
TT-TT So sad... I felt like crying. But I didn't because I'm a nobody with no heart! ^_^'''
So yea. This song still makes a very decent battle theme if you ask me! I just love it.
Sometimes when I have to practice my battle skills, I grab my phone, play this song and start kicking ass! ^_^
Well this is post number 2. Let's see if I'm able to make one more post for you guys^_^

Bruno Mars - Locked out of Heaven

Favorite Lyrics:

'Cause you make me feel like,
I've been locked out of heaven
For too long, for too long
Yeah you make me feel like,

I've been locked out of heaven
For too long, for too long

My Notes/Commentary:

OH MYYY!! It's been a while since I've been here huh?
I'm suuuuuper sorry! I just have other blogs I never updated and I have school
Then I have boyfriend and relationship problems with -beep- who try to steal
my man!! -cough cough-
Anyways.... ^_^''' BACK TO THE SONG
I really loved the song the first time I heard it on the radio.
The instant I heard the lyrics, I thought "I love this song.... I need to remember this song!"
So I took out my phone and used SoundHound(SPONSOR!! not really. XDD)
to make me remember the song every time I look at it.
I really like the style of this song and how he sings this.
This song is like one of those songs like when you hear it, you just wanna sing along.
You know that feeling right? RIGHT~! Bruno Mars just gets better and better every song.
Anyways. Since I was gone for such a long time, I'll post as many posts today to make it up for y'all~ How does that sound^_^

Nelly Furtado - I'm Like A Bird

You're beautiful, that's for sure. You'll never, ever fade.

La la la~
Oh, hiyo. :DD

...I just realized that I never did an 'Education Section' on my last post (Mayday Parade - Terrible Things. <3), but oh well. It was kind of a long post... >>

But this post will have one! *evil laugh*
And the other day, I sang this song on karaoke. Hehe.

After seriously scrutinizing the lyrics of this song, it feels so sad and lost and lonely. (Run-on sentence? Bah. Baaaa. SHEEPIES~!) But I really, really love this song. Her voice, to me, is rich but light. Yeah. I've never really done a voice test or anything, but I just love it.

This song is about being free. "I'm like a bird, I'll only fly away." It seems slightly sad, with the "I'll only fly away" part.

I'm going to seriously go into a lyric breakdown. So stick with me or jump ship. You choose.

You're beautiful, that's for sure. You'll never, ever fade.
It's talking about individuality. You can't change who you really are, physically, emotionally, spiritually - you are YOU and not someone else. Showing your true colors versus hiding away in a shell or a facade.
You're lovely, but that's not for sure. I won't ever change.
I'm not going to change for you. You might be this way now, but will you be different in the future? Will I want to change for you in the future?
Though my love is rare, though my love is true, I'm like a bird, I'll only fly away. I don't know where my soul is, I don't know where my home is.
This part talks about true love, but how it has a melancholy twist on how she'll leave the other as one will eventually have to. Nothing good ever lasts, ever. "Doors close so others can open." One thing gives way to another. "Things die so others can grow."
Your faith in me brings me to tears, even after all these years. And it pains me so much to tell that you don't know me that well. And though my love is rare, and though my love is true...
The guy loves her so much. So, so much. But, he doesn't know her as well as he thinks, and it hurts her so much that she'll have to leave him soon. Their relationship is slowly losing its spark, and they're separating, whether they like it or not. They're becoming different people.
I'm like a bird, I'll only fly away. I don't know where my soul is, I don't know where my home is. It's not that I wanna say goodbye, it's just that every time you try to tell me that you love me, each and every single day I know I'm going to have to eventually give you away. And though my love is rare, and though my love is true... Hey, I'm just scared that we may fall through.
She's going to have to leave him, although she doesn't want to. It's for the best, because they're growing apart. Even though they say, "I love you." and such, she knows their relationship is coming to an end, sooner or later. It's hard, but she knows not to get tangled into it, otherwise she may not be able to get out - harming herself and him. They'll be stuck in a love-less relationship, which will result in what they never thought could happen.

It's amazing how this song is so true.

And yeah. I spent a few days on this post. I hope you like it.
It's my favorite song besides Fast Car by Tracy Chapman and I Miss You by blink-182.
I should sleep, but I can't. And I don't quite feel like doing an education thing tonight.
Love you all.
I'm like a bird, I'll only fly away.

Mayday Parade - Terrible Things

That's when I met your mother, the girl of my dreams.

Hi guys.

I hate to crush anyone's great day (okay, I'm lying, but at least I'm being considerate of your feelings, ne?), but this is a depressing song. So I understand if you don't wanna read this post. It's okay. (GIMME 50000000+ PAGEVIEWS. NAO. Jkay. *winky face*)
I always get sad when I hear this beautiful song. I'm just really sad, and I love this song. So, so much. I love Mayday Parade and Secondhand Serenade at the moment. <3
This song is telling a story, in my opinion.
I think I'm going to dissect this song. That's how good it is.
By the time I was your age, I'd give anything. To fall in love truly, was all I could think. That's when I met your mother, the girl of my dreams, the most beautiful woman that I'd ever seen.
It is what it is. See how it's like a story?
She said, "Boy can I tell you a wonderful thing? I can't help but notice, you're staring at me. I know I shouldn't say this, but I really believe I can tell by your eyes that you're in love with me."
Awww. <444
Now son, I'm only telling you this, because life, can do terrible things.
That's just like a forewarning. Keep it in mind.
Now most of the time, we'd had too much to drink, and we'd laugh at the stars and we'd share everything. Too young to notice, and too dumb to care; love was a story, that couldn't compare."
Translation in my speak: We'd get drunk a lot, enjoy each other's company under the stars. <3
I said, "Girl, can I tell you a wonderful thing? I made you a present with paper and string. Open with care now, I'm asking you, please. You know that I love you, will you marry me?"
He made a present for the girl he loved. And he proposed to her.
Now son, I'm only telling you this because life can do terrible things. You'll learn, one day, I'll hope and I'll pray that God shows you differently.
Here comes the best, saddest, worse-est, cry-ful-est part ever. TT__TT
She said, "Boy, can I tell you a terrible thing? It seems that I'm sick and I've only got weeks. Please don't be sad now, I truly believe you were greatest thing that ever happened to me."Slow, so slow I fell on the ground, on my knees.
That part always makes me sadder. But I feel like it's the best part... Weird, right? </3
So don't fall in love, there's just too much to lose, if given the choice, then, I'm begging you, choose to walk away, walk away, don't let her get you. I can't bear to see the same happen to you. Now son, I'm only telling you this because life can do terrible things.
That's just... Yeah. It's a very pessimistic few lines from an optimistic point of view, but everyone seems to interpret those lines quite differently, from my point of view.
To me, it's just what it's saying literally - don't fall in love for fear of being hurt.

And yeah. That's all I've got for now in apologization (G'DAMMIT, IT'S A WORD OKAY) for being an absentee. </3
Bye now.
-Tennie. \m/
The most beautiful woman I'd ever seen.

St.Mic, Moka Only, Psy - Rain All Day

Let the clouds come, wet without thunder.

I was listening to my "Depressing." playlist on Spotify, then I (for some odd, odd reason, man. *le facepalm*) clicked on Live While We're Young by One Direction (*le squee*) and I realized how much pop sucks.
But I'm still a closet Directioner... A Directioner in the closet, hiding from the rest of my friends. >>
*le cough*

Haha. Hi. Anyways, I love this song. It's a perfect rainy day song. It makes me like rain even more~ <3
But it's a good song to listen to when you're down in the dumps (with One Direction! 8'D Just kidding. Jkay.) and stuff. Like I am, at the moment.

(I'm not really sure who this is by, and I'm quite sure that it's by The Nope, and it's the St.Mic remix, but I didn't feel like searching anything up anymore and yeah. So I'm just putting it as St.Mic, Moka Only, and Psy. Yep.)

大丈夫。On to the all-wonderful Rain All Day. 我们去吧!
Man, it's entertaining typing in Asian. :D

I couldn't find anything on St.Mic, so oh well.
Moka Only is an underground hip hop artist, born in Canada on November 14, 1973. He has been in the music industry since 1989. In 2002 and 2003, he won two sequential Juno Awards and won the "Most Fabulous Canadian Man" in 2009. :)
As for Psy, you all know 'bout him. He's the Gangnam Style dude whose title is the "Undisputed King of Pop" and taught Britney Spears and Ellen DeGeneres, hehe. I love Ellen. Especially that time when she was Sofia Vergara for Halloween. XD
Anyways. He was born on December 31, 1977. Great time, eh? He's currently 34 and has been in the music industry since 1999 and is still here.

And that's about it. Okay guys. Bye. \m/
Rain all day-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay.

Matchbox Twenty - She's So Mean

She's a Motown, get around, anything-goes girl.

I am so sorry for not updating. As for Ahri-chan, I'm sure she's busy with school and stuff.

Anyhow, I've been okay in general. My school has a Medieval Fair tomorrow, and everyone has to dress up as something medieval. Ugh.

Alrighty. Onto *insert ba ba da DAAAAAA fanfare here with majestic, shiny trumpets here* Matchbox Twenty and She's So Mean! :D

[I really am so sorry for being a lazy butt. So sorry. Really. But now I have a three-day weekend and a good, long period to blog and sleep! Hopefully. -__-]

To me, this song is about a girl who gets what she wants. She's "mean" because she has the guts (haha, Glitter Puke) to go with her guy to the club, then leave with her friends.
"She's like a one-way ticket, you can't come back."
Hehe. Think on that for a bit.

AND NOW FOR... *drumroll please* EDUCATION SECTION!!! xDDD
Matchbox Twenty is an American pop-rock band that has been active since 1995! The band is made up of Rob Thomas on vocals and keyboard, Paul Doucette on back-up vocals, drums, and rhythm guitar, Brian Yale on bass (guitar), Kyle Cook on lead guitar and back-up vocals, and Stacy Jones, their touring drummer.
These guys rose to fame in 1996 with their debut album, Yourself Or Someone Like You, which recieved a 'Diamond Certification' in the US, and multi-platinum awards in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
It turns out that their first rhythm guitarist, Adam Gaynor, quit the band and was replaced by Paul Doucette, their current rhythm guitarist.

And, that's all I've got for you guys.
I think I'm actually turning into a Directioner. TT___TT

Bye now. \m/
She's a hardcore, candy store, gimme-some-more girl.

Flipsyde (feat. Piper) - Happy Birthday: Part Two.

Maybe one day we could meet face-to-face, in the place without time or space.
I suck. Totally forgot about typing up another post for Happy Birthday. T^T
Yeah, I suck. *headdesk*
But now that my laptop's been taken away, I can't be on as much.

Email me at or if you wanna help as an author. I use my Yahoo more, though.

And about that field trip I told you guys about? Well, yeah. It was pretty awesome, and I got two packs of "Astronaut Freeze-Dried Ice Cream" in Mint Chocolate and Cookies/Cream. Hehe. And I got these epic sunglasses. Dude. Stuff at museums are expensive. ;~;"
We went to the California Academy of Science in San Francisco, California, East Bay, United States of America, Planet Earth, if you were curious. :D

The ones I got are the pair on the bottom, the short moostache. Hehe.
One dude in my class got the second pair down, the mafia drug dealer ones. It was hilarious. B{
The brand is Sun-Staches, if you wanted to know. (Facebook page; Website.)

Anyways, back to Flipsyde and Piper.
What I thought was a dream (make a wish), was as real as it seemed (happy birthday) What I thought was a dream (make a wish), was as real as it seemed. I made a mistake.
That repetitive chorus seems (to me, all this junk is spewing from me) to be a mini-rant about how the fact that he'd actually made an abortion happen and how it seemed like an impossible feat actually happened. (If that makes any sense at all...)
From the heavens to the womb to the heavens again, from the endin' to the endin', never got to begin. Maybe one day we could meet face to face? In the place without time and space. Happy birthday.
(I'm not sure if I covered this part, and if I already did, I don't particularly care. Yeah. Just wanted to throw that out there.)
He's wondering if he can ever meet the "was-be" baby. "In the place without time and space" shows (this is purely based on my opinion and... life...) that maybe he could meet the little baby in those dream-like places that are all peaceful and calming. And that's it for the lyric part.
Feel free to comment with other lyrics from this song, or songs you want me to put on the blog.

And for the artist part - um. Flipsyde is a R&B artist/rapper from Oakland, California (don't go all racist or anything on me now) and he's been in the music industry since 2003. This song, Happy Birthday, is from the album We The People. And that's all I've got for you guys. \m/
And that concludes my Part Two on Happy Birthday.

I won't be on as much, but like I said - feel free to email me and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can. And I'm kind of in grief right now. So I'll be in seclusion for a bit with my chocolate.

Okay, guys, bye for now. I'll try to be on more often, but without my laptop it's hard.

Bye. Love you all.
(Yes, you Adam. Rest in peace in New York. Please. You've passed into a better place than this horrid universe.)

Flipsyde (feat. Piper) - Happy Birthday: Part One.

Would you have been a little angel, or an angel of sin?
Well, that's just a freaking awesome cover. <3

Hi guys. This is the best song ever. (Fine, ONE of them.) It's about abortion.
Please don't go all "PRO-LIFE BETCHES" or "Pro-choice plz" on me... Or Ahri.
Please don't. o Ao"

Anyways. This song is about a guy who wrote a song about abortion, and how he thinks about it and wonders what would've happened if he hadn't had the abortion. It's a great song, and one of my friend's dad's iPod played it over the summer, and I was hooked, hehe. I love this rap.
I actually like rap. Even though I'm Asian. Pfft. (The Stereotypes Song! Your Favorite Martian, lawl.)
Well. This rap is just plain awesome. The end.
"Maybe one day we could meet face to face? In a place without time and space. Happy birthday."
Those are some awesome lines to think about. To me, these three sentences just shows that he might think of regretting it. What would've happened if the abortion hadn't happened?
Which leads us to these lines:
"Please accept my apologies, wonder what would have been. Would you've been a little angel or an angel of sin? Tom-boy running around, hanging with all the guys. Or a little tough boy with beautiful brown eyes? I payed for the murder before they determined the sex, choosing our life over your life meant your death. And you never got a chance to even open your eyes. Sometimes I wonder as a fetus if you faught for your life?
Would you have been a little genius in love with math? Would you have played in your schoolclothes and made me mad? Would you have been a little rapper like your papa da Piper? Would you have made me quit smokin' by finding one of my lighters?
I wonder about your skintone and shape of your nose. And the way you would have laughed and talked, fast or slow? Think about it every year, so I picked up a pen. Happy birthday, love you whoever you woulda been, happy birthday."
That's practically the whole first verse. Hehehe... *big anime sweatdrop*
These lines depict his ideas of how the aborted baby would've been.
If you zero in on these lines:
"I payed for the murder before they determined the sex, choosing our life over your life meant your death"
Well. I feel like a selfish person when I hear these lines, even though I didn't have an aborted baby. "Choosing our life over your life meant your death."
It's spooky, but hey. 1) Halloween's coming up and people in my neighborhood are going all out (OTL) and 2) It's true. People have to start facing reality.

And yeah. That's all I have for now, but I'm kind of planning on a Part Two to this post. I just wanted to get something out there.
See you guys later... Possibly later today, if not, tomorrow.
I just feel like this post isn't done, even though I know it's long.

Okai. See you all later.

Tennie, ow-ooh-t. (Out.) xD
*Gangnam styles away*
Maybe one day we can meet face-to-face, in the place without time and space.

Alex Clare - Too Close

And it feels like I am just too close to love you.

Wow. Dedicated to my bro Jesse. ;w;
(So if you don't read this, I'll be very saaaaaad.)
The only reason I discovered Alex Clare was because of my late-night chatting and procrastinating issues, so I guess that they're actually put to good use sometimes. :)
Thanks for so many pageviews, guys. 202! I'm so happy~

Anyhow. On with Alex Clare and his song. Woo!
To me, this song is talking about a guy who falls for his best friend (perhaps gay guy bestie, you never know) but feels like he's not allowed to, because they're so close that if he spills his feelings for her/him, then she could reject him and their relationship would be jeopardized. But that's just from my perspective of the world's relationships.
Alex Clare, born September 14, 1985 as Alexander George Clare is a British songwriter. The Lateness of the Hour, his debut album, was released last year, in 2011. He adopted his current stage name, Alex Clare, in 2010. He plays the drums, ukulele (WOO! I PLAY THAT TOOOO!), guitar, keyboard, harmonica, sings, and messes with synthesizers. (Hehe.)

Anyways. That's about it for me. Sorry for disappearing. Life just sucked in general, I got lazy (but then again, when am I not? *sighs*), and I was just really busy with crap.

I thought I would never say this, but comment and follow! Woo!

Okies. Bai nao. \m/
I can't lie no more. Got to be true to myself.

Matchbox 20 - Unwell

All day. Staring at the ceiling, making friends with shadows in my mind.

Hola guys. Sorry for not being around. With my school having the end of quarter thing recently, we finally got a day off, and I slept and caught up on videos I missed on YouTube and stuff.
I hope you all are doing okay. ^_^

You guys should totally see the music video of this song. It's so cool. THE GUY'S (yeah, so specific, ne?) PIERCINGS ARE TOTALLY BAD-ASS.

Anyways. This song went pretty big a few years ago, along with Bad Day by Daniel Powter (I think.) and some other great songs. (Like Aerosmith! :D)

"Like how I used to be." Think on that for a little bit.

Since I don't feel like doing an "Education Section!" part today (dude, super loss of sleep, and I mean SUPER), I'll just put a bit more interpretations of this song in this post. I hope that's okay... IT WILL BE OKAY. -.-"
I definitely agree the song far more fits a schizophrenic than anything else. Though the emotion of the song at least I can somewhat relate to with High Functioning Autism (or Asperger's depending on which you prefer). But I'm sure pretty much anyone with a notable mental illness/disorder could relate to the song at least to an extent.
To me, as one interpretation, the song is talking about a schizophrenic (no offense to any schizophrenics, these are just my thoughts, not thought of with any offense or prejudice contained.) who is noticing all the other people around him who seem to be (and prob'ly are) judging him.
Another thought is just that he seems to feel that people don't seem to understand him and think of some prejudiced thoughts... Yeah, you get the idea.
It's like saying (and I don't agree with this, it's just for an example), "Blacks are stupid." or "Asians are nerds, even if they try to dress ghetto punk." or "Blondes are dumb." or stupid stuff like that.

Well. That's all for now... I hope you guys haven't abandoned me.
And if you guys have, then... I have Gavin DeGraw! T^T

Love you all. Yes, you. You're all beautiful.
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell. I know, right now you can't tell.

Nick Lachey - What's Left of Me

Favorite Lyrics:

'Cause I want you, and I feel you
Crawling underneath my skin.
Like a hunger, like a burning
to find a place that I've never been.
Now I'm broken, and I'm faded
I'm half the man I thought I would be.
But you can have... What's Left of Me.

My Notes/Commentary:

Hello my fellow bros, audience members, and pups!! (Song reference again~!)
Guess who's back? Back again?
Shady's back!! Tell a friend!
-cough cough- Sorry.. A friend got those lyrics stuck in my head...
Anyways~ I got through my depression stage(for now....) and I'm ready to blog!
This song relates to me. Just like every other song I commentated on.
Maybe not Gangnam Style. I just really like that song.
This song, in MY opinion, is about like... trying to impress this person but you tried way too hard that you only got half of what you wanted so you give the rest of yourself to that one person you care/love.
I completely know how that feels. But just know this....
"You don't need to change for him/her. If they really did love you, You wouldn't have to change at all..."
So yea. That's my words of advise for the day. XD
I've been saying wayy too many cheesy stuff lately... TT_TT
Oh well. Back to the song....
This song is really heart touching. Like near the end, he's asking "So... Will you accept who I am now?" "Will you take What's Left of me?"
When I heard this song, I thought it was sooo old so I was like....
But then.. I took the real meaning of the song and now I love it.
Here's maybe one more advise...
"Just because it's old, it does not mean it's not 'Cool'."
Yea... What is up with me and quotes now?!
^^Yes I'm going to start calling you guys that.. Don't hate me..
